What criteria do you use in reviewing proposals?
Determining whether or not to fund a project or program is an art not a science. We are prayerful in our process and try hard to be consistent and transparent in our deliberations. The questions listed below show you some of what we take into consideration as we review grant applications. While this is not an exhaustive list, please take these questions into consideration as you prepare your application.
1. Is this a new MP with a new initiative?
2. Overall merits & impact of the grant request:
Well organized
Easily deployable
Clear and focused mission
Money is clearly allocated and understood
3. Project alignment to our mission statement and has a clear gospel component.
4. Project is sustainable (maximum opportunity) in the long term without MCGF support
5. Collaboration with other organizations with similar motives
When is the grant due?
Stay tuned for details.
